A state narcotics search warrant turned up 1 point 5 pounds of meth and a pound of marijuana on Friday.

Many firearms and money were also seized at a home on West Cactus and Broadway in Amarillo.

The suspect is identified as Jeremiah Cantrell and was located in a bunker.

Chemical agents were sprayed into the underground structure where he barricaded himself in.

Cantrell gave himself up to Potter County Deputies, was placed under arrest, and booked into jail.

He’s charged with possession of a weapon by a felon, and possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.

Sheriff’s officials say the investigation is still ongoing.
