Dumas Response Team

Dumas Police has six of its officers going through crisis negotiation and joining a special tactical response team.

The six have completed the SWAT training with the Amarillo CERT team. and the goal is for Dumas to have them readily available for the Duma community

Moore County Sheriff’s Office has a tactical team to complement them and to have support for Dumas, to have their own capabilities, and for Dumas to be able to work with them.

The Dumas Tactical Response Team should be ready for roll-out this summer
